Eyebrows are the frame for your face! They add shape and character, so it’s important to keep them groomed. Whether you have sparse brows, new hair growth or just want to know some tips on how to grow fuller eyebrows – this article will help you out!

Here are some amazing thick eyebrow hacks that will give you thicker eyebrows in no time:

1. Baby powder

If you find your thin eyebrows looking a little limp throughout the day, try applying a baby powder before heading off to sleep. When you wake up in the morning they’ll be perky and ready for styling.

2. Vaseline & sugar

Just like with dry skin, rubbing Vaseline onto eyebrows will moisturise them and help stimulate hair growth. Rub Vaseline onto your eyebrows before hitting the sack, then mix two teaspoons of sugar with enough water to form a paste.

Apply this mixture over your Vaseline-coated brows, covering them completely. Put on a shower cap or wrap plastic cling film around your head to keep the mixture in place, then wait for 30 minutes before washing it off.

3. Egg white & honey

For volume without added length, try using egg whites! Mix one tablespoon cornstarch into one beaten egg white until smooth – applying the mixture each night promotes volume without tackiness. Bananas are full of biotin, which is important for producing sebum that keeps hair moisturised, so you can also add one mashed banana to the mixture with two teaspoons of honey for thicker eyebrows.

Whisk everything together and store in a sealed container in the fridge overnight. Apply to your brows before bed, let it work its magic overnight, then wash off with lukewarm water in the morning.

4. Coconut oil

Studies have shown that coconut oil has strong antibacterial properties, which means it’s also great for treating acne. It also contains Vitamin E which is known to promote hair growth when applied topically – perfect if you want thicker eyebrows!

You can apply this hack by using an eyebrow brush or cotton swab to place coconut oil onto your brows, then wipe clean with a tissue after 30 minutes.

5. Castor oil & Vaseline

Castor oil stimulates hair growth and is great for promoting fuller eyebrows! Mix equal parts of castor oil and petroleum jelly to use as an overnight treatment – apply before bed each night, wrap your head in a towel or scarf to keep the mixture from getting on your pillowcase, then wake up with perfect brows.

6. Toothbrush & coconut oil

Gently brush Vaseline onto your brows every day before showering to help stimulate hair growth – this takes about two months but it’s worth it! Just make sure you brush your brows downwards so you don’t break off any hairs that could be growing.

Mix one teaspoon of coconut oil with four teaspoons of sugar, then apply the mixture over your brows each night before you go to bed. Wash them off in the morning and use a warm cloth to gently exfoliate the area if necessary (Source).

You can also try applying castor oil or olive oil on top of your Vaseline mixture for added hair growth stimulation!

7. Egg yolks & coconut oil

This is another treatment simply consisting of egg yolks and coconut oil – whisk two egg whites into two tablespoons of coconut oil until slightly frothy, then apply the mixture nightly before going to sleep. The longer you keep it on, the thicker your eyebrows will get – so try an overnight treatment to pack a punch!

Vitamin E is also known for its hair growth properties, which is why you should consider using castor oil or olive oil on top of your Vaseline mixture for added hair growth stimulation.

8. Hydrolyzed wheat protein & castor oil

Hydrolyzed wheat protein stimulates cell reproduction, helping promote healthy and quick eyebrow growth, while castor oil keeps those new hairs moisturised.

Mix two parts of hydrolyzed wheat protein with one part warm water until smooth, then mix in two teaspoons of castor oil. Apply the mixture to eyebrows at night before going to sleep, and wake up with fuller brows in no time!

9. Egg yolks & water

According to a study published in the journal Cosmetic Dermatology, people who consumed a lot of biotin experienced hair growth that was faster and thicker. As a result, egg yolk hair treatments have been growing in popularity because they’re believed to stimulate hair growth – so weekly egg yolk masks are said to help you get longer, thicker eyebrows!

For your weekly mask, whisk one egg white into two teaspoons of honey until it has an omelette-like consistency. Apply this mixture over your brows each night before bed for at least 30 minutes, then wash off with lukewarm water the next morning.

  1. Olive oil & aloe vera

According to a study published in the Indian Journal of Dermatology, aloe vera stimulates hair follicles and promotes hair growth by nourishing them with minerals such as calcium, magnesium, phosphorous and copper.

This is why you should consider using olive oil on top of your Vaseline mixture for added hair growth stimulation – it’s high in Vitamin E which increases blood circulation, making your scalp healthier and therefore resulting in thicker eyebrows!

For this treatment, combine two tablespoons of virgin olive oil with three tablespoons of aloe vera gel from an aloe plant. Apply this nightly before going to sleep – do not wash off!

Strawberry seed oil is also a great alternative to olive and castor oils, and it’s packed with Vitamin E which helps improve blood flow. It also contains lots of fatty acids that help lock in moisture, keeping your brows hydrated throughout the day.

For this treatment, simply massage strawberry seed oil into your eyebrows each night before going to sleep. Wash off the next morning with lukewarm water, then use a warm cloth to gently exfoliate if necessary.

You’ll want to try out all these remedies at least once because they each give you different benefits! Just make sure you mix up your routine every 4-6 weeks so your eyebrows don’t get used to the same thing. Have you tried any of these yet? Which do you love most?
