German designer philipp plein uhren herren is known for his maximalist approach to fashion. From mink-trimmed football jerseys to monster trucks shooting fire or a rave in outer space, Plein’s style has reached iconic status and his brand is thriving.

But there’s a world of fashion beyond the clothes and shoes – and that includes a selection of watches. The designer, whose fashion house is located in Switzerland, launched his first watch collection last year with licensee Timex’s luxury division.

The brand’s current watch line, titled “Spectre,” is a bold expression of rock spirit and features the $kull Diver, an oversized 44-mm model that’s water resistant up to 100 meters. The skeleton dial boasts a signature Philipp Plein accent and the case back shows off a classic logo.

Philipp Plein: The Brand Behind the Luxurious and Stylish Watches

Despite its extreme, over-the-top aesthetic, Philipp Plein’s latest watches are refined and sophisticated in detail. They’re a great addition to any luxe wardrobe and are available online and in select Philipp Plein stores.

In a world where almost every major fashion brand has branched out into accessories, Plein’s watches are a little different. They’re priced just as high as his clothing, but are designed with a lot more flair than you’d expect from a designer whose antics often involve quoting Black Lives Matter and staging Kobe Bryant tributes at his runway shows.

His next horological venture is due to launch in November and will feature a more sophisticated, Swiss-made timepiece called Crypto King$ that’s expected to retail for around $4,500. It’s still too early to tell whether the new collection will generate any additional buzz for Plein’s eponymous line, but he believes it will boost sales.
